Review of Last Chance

Last Chance is a book about a young girl named Robyn Hunter. After getting in some trouble with the law, Robyn gets sentenced to work at an animal shelter for most of the summer. Figuring she would have the worst summer ever, she arrived at the animal shelter, all hope lost. Everything turned upside down when she ran into someone from her past.

I thought that Last Chance was an okay book. Honestly, it wasn't one of Norah McClintock's best books. I wasn't too fond of how Robyn evolved throughout the book but I was very happy with how it ended and I think I might read more of the series. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery novels and predicting the end before it happens. Overall I think the end where Robyn finally saw the light made it worthwhile.

“...an exciting read that will challenge young readers to take note of the events that develop into clues...”

“The story is a little heavy handed, and the mystery is hardly thrilling.”

I really liked this book, but throughout it, it seemed as though Robyn didnt know the obvious so in every situation she was in i already knew why, but somehow she didnt. I didnt like the ending because they only become friends, you think they would be more...
anyways its a great way to show people that there are people out there that have a rough life

I must agree with you on that. Some parts were a bit sad but still. Put yourself in her shoes.
ahh the ending. Well you see I think that was the point all along. It leaves you wanting more. There are more books five more as a matter of fact. And if you want more between them I say keep reading the series. I've read the second but I don't have a review for it yet. But still, I strongly recomend you continue the series :)
