Sheldon Oberman

Sheldon Oberman was born on 20 May 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and studied literature at the University of Winnipeg and the University of Jerusalem. In 1975, after receiving a teaching degree, he joined the staff at Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate in Winnipeg as an English and drama teacher. In addition to his books, Oberman wrote columns and articles for the Winnipeg Free Press, acted and directed on film and stage, and toured as a professional storyteller. He also created the questions for the junior version of the game, A Question of Scruples. Oberman died on 26 March 2004 in Winnipeg. For more information, visit his official site.
