Winifred Bambrick was born on 21 February 1892 in Ottawa, Ontario. A professional harpist, Bambrick performed in Europe and North America and recorded with Thomas Edison. She retired from public performance in 1960 and died on 11 April 1969 in Montreal, Quebec.
