Anne Barton is a pseudonym of Dr. Florence Barton. She was born in 1931 in Drumheller, Alberta and grew up in Idaho. She studied at McGill University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1957 from Washington State University. Barton lives in British Columbia.
