Kim Goldberg was born in 1954 in Eugene, Oregon. She earned a B.A. in biology from the University of Oregon in 1977 before relocating to Nanaimo, British Columbia. Goldberg has been a full-time writer since moving to Canada and she was the BC Current Affairs columnist for Canadian Dimension magazine from 1990-2002. Goldberg lives in Nanaimo.
