Harold Horwood

Harold Horwood was born on 2 November 1923 in St. John's, Newfoundland. He worked as a union organizer from 1946 to 1948, served in Newfoundland's House of Assembly from 1949 to 1952, and worked as political columnist and editor of St. John's Evening Telegram. Horwood died of cancer on 18 April 2006 in Nova Scotia.
