Dave Hugelschaffer

Dave Hugelschaffer was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up on a farm north of the city. He studied forestry at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and worked for the Alberta Forest Service as a wildland firefighter, timber cruiser, and Forest Ranger. He then spent ten years as an industrial land planner, coordinating the operations of the forest and oil & gas industries, before returning to the Forest Service in 2007. Hugelschaffer lives near Edson, Alberta.
