Danielle Q. Lee was born in 1975 in Edmonton and grew up in Alberta and British Columbia. After winning the Young Author's Contest when she was eleven and spending the day with Robert Munsch and other successful authors, she knew she'd found her calling. Lee lives in Red Deer, Alberta.
