Jacques Poulin

Jacques Poulin was born on 23 September 1937 in Saint-Gédéon de Beauce, Quebec. He attended Université Laval, earning a psychology degree in 1960 and an arts degree in 1964. He worked as a college guidance counsellor for three years and as a translator for the federal government before becoming a full-time writer in 1969. Poulin lived in Paris for several years and now resides in Quebec City.
