Eden Robinson

Eden Robinson was born Vicki Lena Robinson on 19 January 1968 on the Haisla Nation Kitamaat Reserve in British Columbia. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in creative writing in 1992 from the University of Victoria and a Masters degree in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. Her uncle, Gordon Robinson, was the first published Haisla writer and her sister, Carla Robinson, is a news anchor for CBC television. Robinson is of Haisla and Heiltsuk heritage and lives in Kitamaat Village.
