Mairuth Sarsfield
Mairuth Hodge Sarsfield was born in Montreal, Quebec and has worked as a journalist, research writer, and television host. In 1971, she joined the Department of External Affairs as an information officer. She worked with the United Nations Environment Programme in Nairobi, developing their "For Every Child a Tree" campaign. Sarsfield is retired and lives on Vancouver Island.
