Audrey Thomas

Audrey Thomas (née Callahan) was born 17 November 1935 in Binghamton, New York and immigrated to Canada in 1959. She received an M.A. in English from the University of British Columbia in 1963 and for the next two years, lived in Ghana. In addition to her novels and short stories, Thomas has written more than 20 radio plays for the CBC. She has lived on Galiano Island off the coast of British Columbia since 1969.
