P.K. Page

Patricia Kathleen Page was born on 23 November 1916 at Swanage, England and moved with her family to Red Deer, Alberta in 1919. In 1950, after working as a scriptwriter for the National Film Board of Canada, she married William Arthur Irwin and, from 1953 to 1964, travelled with him to Australia, Brazil, and Mexico as he served as Canadian ambassador. In addition to writing, Page (as P.K. Irwin) was an accomplished visual artist. She lived in Victoria, British Columbia until her death on 14 January 2010.
