Patricia Pearson was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of former Senator Landon Pearson and the granddaughter of former Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson. Her writing has appeared in many Canadian and international magazines and newspapers, including USA Today, The New York Times, The Times of London, Chatelaine, and Maclean's.
