Barbara Fradkin (nee Currie) was born in Montreal. She earned a B.A. from McGill University, an M.A. from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa. Her series of mystery novels feature Ottawa Police Inspector Michael Green. Fradkin works as a child psychologist and lives in Ottawa.
