Lyn Hamilton

Lyn Hamilton was born on 6 August 1944. She majored in English with a psychology minor at the University of Toronto and worked in public relations for twenty years before becoming Director of the Ontario Cultural Programs Branch. After leaving that job, Hamilton was Director of Public Affairs for the Canadian Opera Company. At the age of 50, she began writing her series of archaeological mysteries featuring antiques dealer Lara McClintoch. Hamilton died on 10 September 2009 of cancer.
