Thomas King
Thomas King was born in 1943 in Sacramento, California. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Chico State University in California and his Ph.D. in English/American Studies from the University of Utah in 1986. King taught Native studies at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta for a decade and was the Chair of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota. Since 1995, he has been an English professor at the University of Guelph. In addition to his novels, articles, and poems, King wrote and starred in The Dead Dog Cafe Comedy Hour for CBC Radio.
