Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer grew up in Metcalfe, Ontario. She worked as a treeplanter to pay for her education and as a lumberjack in Belgium for two seasons. Her reviews and feature articles have appeared in several national newspapers and magazines and she is an editor for Bookninja. Kuitenbrouwer lives in Toronto.
