Review of Out of the Cold

Out of the Cold is another Robyn Hunter mystery. This time, Robyn is trying to discover the identity of a homeless man that froze to death. She met him at a homeless centre that her friend Billy convinced her to help out at. A guy at the centre named Ben Logan doesn't believe she can do it.

I wanted to say no. I didn't feel like doing anything. But Billy was so enthusiastic and he made it sound as if I'd be welcomed with open arms, so instead I said yes.

Billy beamed at me. "It's a great place to volunteer, Robyn. You won't regret it."

As it turned out, he was wrong. It wasn't long before I was sorry I had ever agreed. [page 16]

I thought that Out of the Cold was a pretty good book. I liked how it showed Robyn's perseverance to solve her mystery. I liked how it ended and concluded the story. Althought I think Nick from the first book should have been included more in the ending because there was this big gap. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery novels where you try to put the pieces together before the main character does. Overall, this book was pretty good.
