Martha Brooks
Martha Brooks was born in 1944 and grew up in Ninette, Manitoba. In addition to her books and plays for young adults, Brooks is a jazz singer and her first CD, Change of Heart, won the Prairie Music award for Outstanding Jazz Album of 2002. Brooks lives in Winnipeg.
