- Jay Greenfeld launches My Choice, My Life: Realizing Your Ability to Create Balance in Life at McNally Robinson Booksellers, 1120 Grant Avenue, starting at 2pm.
- Ontario: Elora
- Elora Writers' Festival takes places today at Heritage River, 25 Wellington Dr., from 1pm to 4pm. Andrew Hood, Jill Battson, Nino Ricci, Susanna Kearsley, Anthony de Sa, and Sandra Sabatini will be reading.
- Ontario: Hamilton
- Steven Mayoff, J.J. Steinfeld, Kate Braid, Isa Milman, Michael Blair, Sharon Nelson will be reading at The Sky Dragon Centre, 27 King William Street, starting at 7:30pm, as part of the Lit Live Reading Series.
- Ontario: Ottawa
- Bloody Words finishes up today at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel, 100 Kent Street, Lower Level.

- Luminato, Toronto's Festival of Arts and Creativity continues today. Marthe Jocelyn will be at the Northern District Branch of the Toronto Public Library, 40 Orchard View Blvd., starting at 2pm.
- Barbara Klunder reads from The Animal's Day: An Island Alphabet at Ward's Island Association Clubhouse, 20 Withrow Street, starting at 2pm, as part of This is Not a Reading Series.

- Paul Dutton performs at Galerie Montcalm, 25 rue Laurier, starting at 2pm.
