Alberta: Calgary
Samantha Whelan Kotkas presents More Rocky Mountain Fairy Tales at Monkeyshines Children's Books, 113, 2215 - 33rd Ave S.W., starting at 2pm.
British Columbia: Burnaby
D.J. MacHale reads from The Soldiers of Halla at Chapters Metrotown, 4700 Kingsway, starting at 2pm.
Ontario: Ottawa
Bloody Words continues today at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel, 100 Kent Street, Lower Level. Mario Bolduc, Kate Jaimet, Linwood Barclay, and Rick Mofina will be reading from 10am to noon. Louise Penny, Anne Emery, RJ Harlick, Brenda Chapman, Barbara Fradkin, David Cole, Brad Kelln, and Denise Mina will be reading from 2pm to 6pm.
Paul Dutton will be presenting Aurealities at 1848, Jock Turcot University Centre, University of Ottawa, 85 University Avenue, starting at 9pm.
Ontario: Toronto
Luminato, Toronto's Festival of Arts and Creativity continues today. Jeremy Tankard will be at the S. Walter Stewart Branch of the Toronto Public Library, 170 Memorial Park Ave., starting at 11am. Marie-Louise Gay will be at the North York Central branch of the Toronto Public Library, 5120 Yonge St., starting at 2pm. Patrick Mcgrath, Sarah Langan, Monique Proulx will be at the Al Green Theatre in the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre, 750 Spadina Avenue, starting at 7:30pm.
Saskatchewan: Saskatoon
Glenda Goertzen will be reading from The Prairie Dogs and City Dogs at McNally Robinson Booksellers, 3130 8th Street East, starting at 2pm.
