Douglas Glover

Douglas Glover was born on 14 November 1948 and grew up on a farm near Waterford, Ontario. He earned a B.A. in philosophy in 1969 from York University, an M. Litt. in 1971 from the University of Edinburgh, and an M.F.A. in 1982 from the University of Iowa. In between, Glover worked at several daily newspapers in New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. In the early 1990s, Glover moved to upstate New York and has taught at several universities and colleges. Currently, he teaches in the MFA in Writing Program at Vermont College.
