Jean Little
Jean Little was born on 2 January 1932 in Taiwan to Canadian doctors working as missionaries for the United Church of Canada. Her family moved to Guelph, Ontario when she was seven years old. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 1955 with a B.A. in English and taught disabled children until her first book was published in 1962. Little was born legally blind and writes with the help of a special computer. She lives in Guelph.
