Eric Wilson was born on 24 November 1940 in Ottawa, Ontario. He received a B.A. in Education from the University of British Columbia in 1963 and taught elementary school in White Rock, British Columbia. Wilson has been a full-time writer since 1985. He lives in Victoria.
